Sibshops is an opportunity for siblings of individuals with Down syndrome or any other special needs to share in a relaxed, lively, recreational setting.

Our Sibling Support Group is evidence of the loving concern for the family member who will have the longest lasting relationship with a person who has a disability. However, for the kids who attend them, sibling support group sessions are pedal-to-the-metal events where they will meet other siblings, have fun, laugh, talk about the good and not-so-good parts of having a siblings with special needs, play some great games, learn something about the services their brothers and sisters receive, and have some more fun!

SibShops is held the first Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the DSASTX Maggie Hartman Community & Education Center.

Future SibShops events to be announced!

The generosity of donors allows the Down Syndrome Association of South Texas to provide this service for free.
